No - I do not have one .
However there is an exceptionaly good picture of the pin reverse straight on I would like to use - for educational purpose - showing the large W&L pin anchor mounting ring .

That L55 mark is very different !!
Something to point out : The slanted neck on the 5's and the bottom loop is larger too ! There is no 'frame' around it either !
Are 2 maker mark types known ???

It is almost at the bottom of the page amongst the 'Iron Crosses' .
2nd from the bottom .... did not compare the front - just the mark .

Chris found the cross - I only compared the mark .
The 2 you show are the same straight neck 5s with and without the 'box' ! The other one on the site has 'slanted 'necks on the 5 and larger circular bottoms ! Not the same at all ... marked on the top or inside does not matter - it is different . 3 Types ????????

Hi guys, how common was it that a manufacturer used more then one maker mark as in this possible case?
                      Regards:Chris...

Someone wrote me a PN and asked if both EK1 L55 SB are for sale and if I can make bigger pictures of the maker mark?!

Yes, I can show bigger pictures of the maker mark (but only 800 x 800 pixs @ the forum), I have old pictures in 1600 x 1600 pixs and the new picuters are in 3000 x 3000 pixs quality.

2nd, sorry all EK1 SB are sold (I have only the pic in 1600 x 1600 and one in 3000 x 3000 pixs)

Here are the pictures with bigger mm.

                        P.S. I will get a new L55 w/o box SB this week ;-)

It is possible that some maker have more than one maker mark
I think a maker mark is only one characterisics of the hole textbook!
Maker mark are hit manuel on the pin or cross and could therefore have some difference characteristics ;-) Don't rely too much only on the maker mark

                          Hi Chris :
Quit common actualy : Many makers had multiple slightly different marking dies for their awards .

Quite a few makers did have different marking dies . ... I do know that ... and found in larger quanteties . The maker mark becomes more and more important on uncommon - rare - and ultra rare pieces ! The unmarked cross is common but a marked cross may be very hard to find ....... Hello fakery ! ... anything to make money on ! The L/12 is the prime example of a maker with the most amount of fake maker marks .
