I would lke some better shots of the 1st pattern 1st calss spange.
Based on the posted pictures, I do not like it to much.
As I see it, to much finish when you compare to soft details on the chest.
But wait for Jon on this one.

The chest is very robust and stands higher then the rest of the spange. It is a bit worn in the middle right area and the tombak is whats left.
The sun is not helping either with the new shot, there is more tombak coming through then the pic tells. Oh well, Iam not going to complain about the sun living in Germany.
Te wear is sort of like when a coins featured are worn down, the rest of the details on the wings and so forth are very sharp.

Dion, nice L/57 first model spange, am still trying to figure out the prinzen. The date bar doesn't match any of mine. I thought it might be an L/53 but not sure. JimComment

that EK2spange is an L/15
the EK1spange is fantastic! Just love the hinge plate, shaped around the head, rare and beautiful
and that 1870 prinzen is sweet!
