    Weird "65" EK1 w/ horizontal pin

Attached pics of the weirdest EK1 I have seen. So far the makers number and construction looks good...but the pin is horizontal...

Does anybody have "65" for comparison?

Year number looks very strange and wrong. Swastica is rather flat.
A 65 cross does not look like this. Either front or back.

      Cheers.

Like Peter said - wrong overall shape of the cross... strange numbers, sfastika... ugly finish... something stinks here

              Hi,
as you can see on mine, the swastika arms are thicker, it is higher and the tips of the numbers have the balled tips.
              regards,
              Kevin

I had an opertunity to look at a couple of the Flock EK1s that were marked 65, but the mark was in a little box just like the L/15

                  Thanks for input friends!

I see the differences and mine is fake as I suspected. I am always interested in tracking fakes and trying to find the history of its manufacture. This is again type I have never seen before... and why has somebody faked good quality as this...and attached horizontal pin

Lucky for us fakers always wan't get the value as high as possible.. There is just one problem; It only works on the ignorant and the foolish, luckily we are neither. I checked this piece with Jani in Tampere. I instantly noticed that the makers mark was identical to the one on my piece, but the numbers and the swaz were not right. Guess i was on the right track..
