                I believe this is the classic Rodoulf Souval copy, with the suspension ring that dips into the frame.

                      Is it just me or is the eye of the ring look to be of 2 piece consturction, just like the 2 halves of the outter rim? On the real ones it is made of one piece soldered to the cross right?

                        No, on the real ones the rings are parts of the frames, and everything got soldered together.... together.
