Hi All.
I soon will be looking at a Cased Zimmerman German Cross in Silver for a potential purchase. This has lead me to studying this forum and purchasing Dietrich Maerz book which has been an excellent help.I've also tested my skills at comparitive analysis by looking around at dealer sights on the web.I was wondering if anyone had heard of www.regimentals.co.uk ? The reason I ask is they have no less than three German crosses in silver. The intersting thing is, they are all Zimmermans.I thought these were as rare as hens teeth with only a couple thousand given out. While looking at them, I noticed two that looked like the swastikas had overran the borders of the wreath. Also ,while reading the descriptions which were rather extensive, there was no mention of the 11 oclock flaw or the rectangular flaw in the nine.I would think anyone trying to sell a piece would exploit honest flaws that define that maker. I was curious if anyone could see the 11 oclock flaw or the 9 flaw .there are three examples to chose from .I'm not saying they're good or bad I'm just studying and observing.Thaks to all who reply.
