I just received this cross and I think it is either a 36 or 136 stamped cross. I can make out the 36 but am not sure if the first character is actually a one or just a mark. Or am I totally wrong which is highly possible. Thanks for your help. Jim

I'll stick my neck out and go for a '138'. Two reasons, first, the '3' in the reverse date has got a small chip missing from the top right corner and secondly on the 6 o'clock arm, the frame flange and beading are slightly mis-stamped, there is a wider flange on one side compared to the other, the beading 'sits' askew on the frame.

I got out my 138 and compared them and they match, so in consensus with everyone it is a 138. Thanks for your help. JimComment
