    EK ScewBack Thoughts?

    Hi,
I know these are heavily faked. I looked at relevant threads on the Forum. I dont know what to think, its from E stand so I guess if its no good I can return it. My only concern is the position of the date. Can you guys put my mind at ease.
    thanks Robert C.

That is currently accepted as a wartime piece made by Rudolf Souval, Vienna.
        Best regards,

Souval's discs are generally (maybe always) marked 'L58'. So, I would guess this disc is a replacement.

The core has shifted in this cross making the date look off-center. If you look at the upper righthand corner of the core you can see the exposed 'step' in the core. I have one just like this.
