just arrived, very happy to have got this one because I in my opinion is very nice and had no more Godets EKI in my little collection.
Frame rotated of 180°. Normally that flaw is on the bottom.

When I recieved this one it had this small piece of cloth, that looks period to me wedged in between the cross and the backing device.

I agree, I feel myself very luck to get this one, it 's really hard to find. The last one I 've lost (for a reasonable price) was about
1 year and 6 months ago in the Niemann website...

Very nice SB version EK1s there Fabri and Steve !

A question for both :
There seams to be 2 types of cores .. one has a domed Swas and the other has a flat top Swas . Compared to a regular EK2 Swastika is the Swastika(Fabri's) a bit larger on not . The domed one Fabri has -- has flater side flanges on the Swas and Steves are very steap ! Both being in the same size Zimmermann frame -- this may only be an optical illusion ???
And one more general question --- ... has a SB EK1 with a Godet frame ever surfaced ???

About comparison: maybe I 'm wrong but seems two different paint used.
I think swazs have same dimensions but here a pic with a mm 21.

I don't know, at today I 've never seen a screwback with another frame

Two different paints seams like ... yes .
Perfect comparison of the 2 different cores . The top surface measurments may be the same , but not the base measurment on the swastika .
Beside that look at the top of the 1 and 3 !! On the right cross the 1 is taller and top of the 3 wider than on the left cross !
