they are ugly indeed Greg, but at the same time they have a certain harm.
I had an ek2, but sod it a while ago because it was a postwar cross.
I do still have a spanish made KVK2, odd one as well.
Te reverse is flat, it only has the medallion with 1939 soldered in the center...

Why don´t you post a picture of this KVK?? I know them, but I haven´t and maybe of interest for others.

            You're welcome Greg.
It doesn't really fit in my collection, but for some reason I am very attached to it.
            So it stays

Your medal is great and the diferents medals from Gregorio´s colecction are original spanish medals 100%, a lot of ex-combats had this medals.

              Best regards.

This one was published in one of my books last year. When you compare with the other medals, you can see that the East medal is bigger than the german one. So it´s may be a spanish made one. And the brightness of the Blue Div medal below shows this is made in Spain clearly.
Note the typical spanish attachment system in all of them.

Many thanks for posting that picture; very interesting.

is that a wound badge on there I see? were there Spanish made wound badges? I ask this as to my eye the badge seems larger than normal.

of course it is difficult to tell from this picture

Personally I would love to get my hands on a Spanish made EK1 or EK2 I think they are quite unique. I have never seen one for sale however

                cheers

Dave, I´ve seen a spanish made Wounded german badge never, and I can swear tha was manufactured in Spain never. Like you do, I can see a WB on the pictured veteran´s chest, but it maybe a german one. Picture is not good enough to see details.
Keep your attention on e-stand. I´m posting some of this medals for sale. Last one was the EKII miniature. It was sold in minutes and I had a lot of pm asking.
I´m very happy testing the increasing interest on this pieces on the last times.

Yes, you have a postwar medal, at least 3 or 4 times more expensive than a war time piece

Could you post a picture of this supposed made in Spain medal? If it´s an original spanish one, you can get your trade easily, and I´m ready to buy it to you for the price of a german one, if you want.

If you mean me, i dont have it anymore, this was 10+ years ago i traded it with Bengt Persson, who got 8 years in jail for skipping paying tax while selling militaria.

I guess i cant ask him either where it went ...

A pic would be enough for me to know if it´s one of these what we are talking about. When you find any time, please post it, and I´m ready to pay at least 150% of the usual price of the best german one for your medal if it´s an original post war made in Spain. A good deal for you and for me
And I hope you and me didn´t finish our career as Bengt. So pay your tax if you sell the medal to me.

ok..seems like you dont understand me..

I dont have the medal, this was over 10 years ago when i had it, i traded it with bengt and who knows where he sold it.

I think it will be easier to get you nudepics on the Swedish princess then find this medal now.
