Thomas, I would wait for other comments but this looks to me to have been re-painted. Of course that doesn't mean the cross ISN'T original, just saying my initial re-action i this has been re-painted, regardless of it being original or not.

I don't think so, it looks like a '123' - Beck Hassinger & Co with a mis-stamped makers mark. A better pic of that would help.

I think Adrian is spot-on with his assessment, a '123' with the stamped maker mark as opposed to the incuse-relief version. Pity about the poor re-paint.
