EK2 on a medal bar

Have an unmarked EK2 on a medal bar. Can anyone hazard a guess on the maker? I can post closer pictures if need be.

It looks like an S&L design frame Tony. Used by several manufacturers so unless it's marked, hard to pin down to a maker. Have you had a look beneath the ribbon to see if the ring is stamped?

Thanks for the reply. Top side of the ring has no maker mark. The obverse of the ring is impossible to see due to the way the EK2 is mounted and the ribbon itself.
