    DK for scrutiny....

What do you think of this one? It does not look like some of the others posted on this forum. I have not seen the same maker mark either. Also I do not like how the 1+9 come together.

    Thanks,
    Erik

Do you have an accurate caliper? The klein copy is slightly smaller than the original, being less then 63mm in length and width. Could you post what the measurements and weight of this is? Thanks

Sorry, I forgot to add that the characteristics of the "134" are not consistent with the three variations noted on this site. The "1" is not "fat" enough, and the horizontal stroke of the "4" is too low. On the original kleins on the 1941, the "9" is somewhat of an elongated oval and ends in the tail being a truncated semicircle. Also, the "1"s have a shortened "brids beak" appearance to the upper downstoke of the "1" . The shaft of the "1" is thicker at the bottom.

            Hi,

            sure reproduction.

Over all wrong points it has, Please, take a look at the colour of its wreath, this photo is good done because you can see its natural WRONG patina this gilding has , looks as to have this Cross in the hands with natural light! typical gilding colour of many fakes, marked 20, 6 rivets, 10 rivets.........

Yes this is a reproduction discovered by Detlev, on the other hand mine is very much different. Wreath, date, top rivet position etc. Not all these fakes are smaller or have this style of date etc.

Mine is of a better quality so be aware this is one very good one. You can find mine on other threads.

              Kind regards,

              Marcus

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I cannot get measurements. For some reason I can tell if something is not right just cant pick out the details.

Yes this is still a high quality repo that I feel would fool many collectors. I cannot find the pictures of yours Marcus, would you mind bumping up the thread or posting them here so we can compare, thanks
