    WW1 EK w/spange opinioins...

This one is marked Juncker on the back.
As with the DKIG, I am lacking in my knowledge of these. Please let me know what you think. These are the only pics provided.
    Many thanks in advance.

I don't believe that Juncker oval-plate maker's stamp is ever good, as I've seen it on too many fakes, and no good crosses. The pin and especially the hinge of the cross is a known fake setup. I'd need more (better) photos of the core of the cross to judge it, since these are too dark, but with a fake pin and stamp, I'd say it's not looking good.

I'll let someone else deconstruct the Spange, but it's probably also bad.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

Thanks guys, I saw some Juncker spanges (w/o crosses) and they looked totally different. I just couldn't find set ups like this to compare it to.
        I appreciate the help

this has fooled alot of people (see all the reference books!)
but thankfully we know better now, it's a very well executed fake
nothing like this ever existed, shame eh?
          regards

Jon, would you call this one a fake Intermediate (Petz & Lorenz) Spange? Is that the one it's modeled on?

yes, you're right, and it is also avaliable as a 'lone' spange too
you'd think they'd use a fake juncker spange on this combo?
              regards
