Hello Kris,

Looks like a nice, original cross to me. Based on the hinge, pin and catch set-up I think this may be an un-marked Zimmerman piece.

Definately NOT a Zimmerman/Godet cross.

The centre beading on a Zimmerman/Godet is perfect, this one is totally different.

Hello all,

the pin set-up surely looks like C.F.Zimmermann (20) but the beading is definetely not Zimmermann.
I saw a similiar mix-up yesterday, i.e a EK1 with beading (rim) from Deumer or Meyer (couldn't determine 100%) and the pin/catch from Zimmermann, or better Zimmermann-style. Unmarked and genuine, like this one.

There is still a lot to be learned and found out about the cross trading of parts for the EK's. Very interesting subject!
