New Spanges

Just received these two new EKI spanges (L/13 and L/56) from Ben, both are buntmetal. The collection continues to grow although a little slower now that I am down to finding the missing ones. Jim

Jim, the L/56 is zinc, not buntmetall.
Never seen one in BM so far....

what was the story with the hardware? replaced? repaired?

Jon, the hardware on the L/13 is odd.
There are no traces of a replaced hinge or catch.
IMO only the pin is a replacement.

I believe that pin was used on 1957-issue EK1s.
