    EK2 manufactured by C.E. Juncker ..

    Hello guys,

This is my nice unmarked EK2 manufactured by C.E. Juncker ..

This stunning cross is identifiable to the small area above the frame where the ring is welded, there's a little gap ..

    IMO it's a nice EK2 from a top maker ..

    Gr,

    Jeroen

          Interesting cross - Mark :
Do you have closeups of the dates and center ?
In the last side picture - side shot you have an area circled in red ... being a bit blury not sure what is indicated .
The reason I ask is the core date is one I do not have in the chart yet ... yours seams to have a dipping 9 , which I have not come across yet ... unless it is just picture distortion ????

          Thanks Douglas

            Very nice,

I have the identical cross, identical excellent condition. I think it is one of the nicest 39 EK2s I own.

I don't think it is proven that Juncker made it -- as far as I know this frame (if I can see it correctly) is not found with Juncker 'teardrop 9' cores, nor is this core found in Juncker '3-flaw' frames. I has all the hallmarks of a Juncker design, but I'd call it a presumed Juncker.

            Best regards,
            Streptile

I mentioned to Geroen earlier that I would not call his a Juncker made cross .
Both crosses have the same frame but not the same core . I have never seen his core befor . His has a drooping first 9 on the front and a very short 1 on the back .
He had sent me pictures to work on to pull up the dates better .

Hey Douglas my friend Fabrizio told me there where 4 different cores used by C.E. Juncker ..

So if this core is not one of the 4, which maker used this kind of core with a drooping 9 on the front and a short 1 on the back ?

You make me very curious now ..

Well Gerome ... a very interesting cross with Juncker like features ... and the core is different from Trevors . Do you have a close up of the hump ?
4 cores .... well we are way over that now - just on the flawed frames alone we have reached 11 !!- one not shown .

Jeroen, Douglas, you 're right of course because I used " 4 cores " uncorrectly, I want to say there were 4 manufacturers (minimum) for Juncker cores, alias Juncker, S&L, W&L, unknown.. variantes of core and frame are many of course as Douglas showed.

                          Hello!

Its looks like zinc mid. part.on the place where missing colour.
Early production was made from zinc.
                          Best Regards
