    '39 EK2 Maker Marked Ring, Who ?

    Hi:
    Here's a '39 EK 2 with a maker marked ring. I can't really make it out.
    Looks like 105 or 106 ?
Mabey someone can recognize the cross and pinpoint the maker for me?
    Thanks, John

Looks like Bruder Schneider A.G. maker 106 dates look pretty close IMO
          Take a look here http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/iron...rers/106/1.htm

My '106' has the same slightly smaller ribbon ring as yours, made of large dia. wire.

Also, I believe these '106's are known to have been painted post-assembly. Or, perhaps just 'touched-up' after assembly. My example has paint on the inside of the beading.

I agree with Robert, typical "106" , dates match and the litte fat ring too.
                A nice cross you have
