ek 2 opinions

this is in the estand and am interested in it , wanted some opinions on it

Ben - I am not an "expert" and there are none in the hobby in my humble opinion. However - the Ek looks like a "wide frame" - these typically had issues with the paint on the core. This is no exception - there seems to be some repainting - but its hard to tell. Regardless it is simply what it is - a well worn EK2 - the price is reflective of the condition and the current market - but I remember the days when these sold for $35.00

It is an original and as Charles says, most likely by maker '24'. They can be found in better condition but the pricing is right for this example. At the end of the day, it's your money.

Now I know why so many being dumped on the e-stand for $75 - 280 lol. $280 I saw just sold but it apparently was a rare maker. $125 is the average I think + PP and post.

Good job peeps on the good investments. Unless you catch a fake there really is no wrong in collecting WW1 & 2 goodies!
