Spange of repetition for the ek1

Spange of repetition for the EK1 of 1914… its state, as podeis to see in the images is a little aggravated… what is your opinion? … please you argue thought, not digais true or false only without explaining because it seems to you false or authentic. Thanks

my gut response was that this is a raptor fake dipped in acid
    but
I think this maybe is a real L/15 with variant hardware... any other opinions?
    regards

It doesn't seem to have the characteristics I look for in a Schickle.

I was thinking raptor also...but I am not sure about that?

I have never seen a spange in this kind of kondition, which really strikes me odd.
I would pass on this one.

I'm not too familiar with Raptor variants, but I am pretty sure this isn't a Schickle. There's just too much that doesn't match.

            It also looks too thick.

Bad pics for these tricky ones, but based on the shapes of the numbers I would say that this one is not a Schickle. (Not to mention the hardware....)

But then it is authentic or false?

description of the article by the salesman of the piece:

sie bieten hier auf diese wiederholungsspange für ein eisernes kreuz 1.klasse. die spange ist in gutem zustand, 2-3. versilberung ist grötenteils vergangen, so zu 65%. sonst aber noch gut in schuss. schaut selbst. viel spaß beim mitsteigern...

Based on these pictures, I would NOT buy it. To much is talking against this being a original clasp.
But that is only my opinion.

The head looks more like a Mayer-clasp, I don't see an L/15 in it...

About the hardware: it APPEARS to be authentic on this piece.
A bit unexpected perhaps, but not impossible.

Based on the condition I would leave it alone though.....

you're right, it looks too thick
                        and soft details,
for either an 'authentic raptor', OR an L/15...
I wouldn't buy it without hands on inspection
                        regards
