It certainly looks that way, the flash can make the item 'lose' some colour too. Bigger pics would be good!

With such small pics I would say probably a zincer with the finish gone, which is more common with zincers than not.
Adrian is right though, we need bigger pics if possible for better diagnosis.

Thanks for the reply. I will try and take a closer look (and better photograph) this weekend. The KVK was in the back room of a local Antique store.
