EK1/Gold Wound Badge Set out of the woodwork

I recently found this little duo at a local junk auction. I ended up paying the man $130 for the set. I don't have a magnet handy, but I suspect the EK1s core is nonmagnetic.....was curious what maker it is? WL? My imagination likes to think these were liberated from the same uniform, but who knows...

            Hello there,

Nice badges! The GWB looks like a '30' to me. I'd be willing to bet the K&Q EK_1 is magnetic.

              Hi Andy,

Nice grab, both are very nice. I'd also like to commend you for posting WHAT YOU ACTUALLY PAID for the two items.

It drives me wild when I read a post where the items are "Vet" or "Estate Sale" acquired and the person NEVER posts what they paid. Then you see it on the e-stand for what I believe is probably double or triple their money.

That is all well and good in all but I wish more members would post the prices they actually paid.

              Enjoy,
              Mike
