EK2 Schinkel on medakbar - for inspection

A nice early medalbar with Schinkel EK and Wehrmacht 4 years medal. The EK is a three piece construction with magnetic iron core.

Find it abit odd 4 year service is in-front of ek2, surely bravery awards comes first?

This (and the Schinkel-EK) was the reason for me to say this is an early medalbar.

Most have the EK2 first . This is only the 3rd one I have seen like this with the service award first ??? The early one I have is reversed to yours .

I forgot to ask if the army ribbon eagle is the thin or thick type and it looks brassy - or is that just the light ??

I think the ribbon eagle is the thin type. Medal and eagle are silver. It´s just the flashlight.

Thought it was just the light .
The only picture I have at the moment that not quit shows the full thickness of the eagle ,... noticed it as soon as I got it !! With the surface design thicker than the 2 frame halfs of the early EK2 !

I think first should be EK for sure..
