New Walter & Henlein (109) arrived, today!

This packeted EKII, maker marked 109 - Walter & Henlein (unmarked) arrived today, and I'm happy to have it. All opinions and comments are both welcomed and valued.

    Cheers,
    Bob.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.....

I think the cross is by maker '24' - Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plaket-ten-hersteller.

      Thanks, Adrian.....

Hmmmm....It was presented to me as a '109'.....

It's unmarked on the ring, but has this mark (acorn?) on the eyelet.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.....

My apologys Bob, I copied and pasted completely the wrong maker in my original post. I've edited it to avoid confusion.
The wide looking frame at first glance made me think '24', the acorn mark has now confirmed it.
Walter & Henlein packets often come with EK's by other makers. It is most likely a put together set as up until now I don't think we can identify (with any certainty) a particular cross to that maker.
The cross below is the one which came with my Walter & Henlein packet.....

typical and many times discusses on WAF .. 24

also via Search there is lot of 109 unmarked which were described as true 109.

                Hi Bob,

I believe there is such a thing as a true UM '109,' just like there is a known UM '86.' And the correct '109' is very close to the '24.' I think the frame is the same, but the outer-trim die is different, making the '24' wider in the flanges. The core is also very close but not identical. One more difference I've noticed is on the thickness of the wire used to make the jumpring. The '109' is pretty thin.

I think you have a '24,' but it's a very, very nice one.
                Best regards,
                Streptile
