It's an original, most likely by K&Q - 65.

ehhh, sort of. It's a little too angled to see the frame and the date. Look at Bob's photo... it's straight-on.

Anyway I think it might be a Lauer?

Anyway I think it might be a Lauer?

I think it's a Lauer '14' after seeing the new photos, too, but the frame isn't what I'm used to with Lauers, and neither is the reverse date. I feel like I've seen this combination of parts before. In any case it's a very very nice cross.
