Combat worn Deschler German cross

Hi all,

I wanted to show you this combat worn DK. A friend of me plans on selling it but at first I wanted to have it checked for authenticy.
One of the upper sections of the wreath is broken off, otherwise it has a good amount of use. The enamel is ok with some scratches.
So the questions are, is it real and if yes, how does the broken wreath reduce the value.
