    Prasidialkanzlei

    Hi Guys!

I have a "100" maker marked EK1. The cross is vaulted, cased, with outer cartonage with the name Wagtler & Lange printed on the side.

My question is should the Prasidialkanzlei not have prohibited the production of this vaulted cross? Being "100" maker marked, it was obviously after the new regulation. Did the company of Wagtler & Lange maker mark their crosses before 1941?

    Regards
    Wilhelm

    I thought....

It was the LDO that regulated awards manufacturing standards, not the Prasidialkanzlei.

      Hi George!

Thanks for the quick response! Does this mean that manufactureres that supplied crosses to the Prasidialkanzlei could manufacture vaulted crosses up to the end of the war?

        Wilhelm,

"100" ist "Rudolf Wächtler & Lange" and should be spelled like that and not "Wagtler". Did you make a type or is it like that on the box?
