    EK1 case Number 621.KB. opinion

I bought an EK1 case from Detlev. However, the lid is flat with no cross emblem. I trust Detlev's judgement, but have reservations. The case is black. On the lid there is a circle imprint that appears to have been applied under the leather at the time of manufacture. The velvet where the medal rests is black, and the cloth inside the case appears to white or just off white from age, but not yellow. I took the cardboard medal holder out as the glue was already shot. Under the cardboard was the number 621.KB. Any ideas on this number and case.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like an original case. The number 621 KB is common.
    Cheers, Frank

      Thanks Frank

it doesn't look like any EK 1 case I have seen though. The lid is not convex, there is no cross emblem, but it has a round push button. I think it may be a KVK 1 case. Any thoughts?

      Thanks

          Thanks

I saw that board. It seems my case is EK1 or KVK1. Detlev says its EK, but its like none I have ever seen. I just want to put the right medal in the case.
