Dangerously good reproduction DK.

Dear Collectors.

Has anyone encountered this current reproduction of the German Cross in Gold? We all know that pictures can be very deceiving, when you actually handle a piece it can be a completely different colour etc... These look dangerously too good, obviously made to deceive. Your thoughts?

This type of fake, while it is reasonably good from the front wouldn't fool anyone if they saw the back. Japanese made, they have only 3 rivets, not even evenly spaced, and a pin which is nothing like anything ever seen on a real DK. They look OK froma pic, but if you placed them next to a real one, their failing become obvious.
