Hello folks. Picked up a nice small grouping of WWII German badges, etc this weekend. Among the items is this KVK, which appears to be slightly smaller than other examples I've owned. Alas, I don't at present have another one handy with which to compare it, but it measures 1 7/8 inches across and feels lighter and "finer" than other examples I've handled. There is a backmark, a number "3" in a small rectangular box directly below the pin which I believe is the Deumer firm. It appears to be silver wash over zinc w/ a good amount of finish remaining, the rest showing the usual oxidation. It's the seemingly small size of this particular example is what's piqued my query...perhaps it's just my imagination?!
