    Hi guys!
Here's a couple more out of my ever shrinking EK I collection. I have no clue on the one with no MM, but the L 50 could be a Floch? Still trying to learn these EK's.
Thanks so much for the help!!

Greg, I just want to mention I am a complete rookie in comparison to the actual helpful guys here in this section like Robert, Trevor, Ben, Douglas and pretty much everyone else besides me

With that being said (and this is pure speculation so wait for sure) I think the cross on the right is bad. The beading on the left corner of the 6 O'Clock arm looks not so good IMO and if you look at the top of the 12 O'Clock arm, the frame looks to either be very narrow or actually tapered going from left to right (at least from the pics that seems so).

I just wanted to post to seem helpful

But other opinions, far more professional than mine, should be considered!

      Good luck bud!

        The "L/50" is perfectly fine.

Thanks! Really appreciate it. I only have a few EK I's left to show, but I spent this morning using the search function and to my beginner eyes, the right EK looked like a Floch??? Thanks again this is how we learn (at least a knucklehead like me.) I have to admit I'm struggling yesterday & today to crasp good vs bad????

I understand. I don't post much here simply because I am still new to collecting. Guys like Luud, Douglass, Trevor, George who posted here and a zillion others who would take me too long to give the shout out to, are such great helps and have been for a while!

The best thing I ever did was PM some of these guys and talk with them, get to know them some and then PUMP THEM FOR INFO

Them, along with this forum and some books (especially the EKI book coming out this summer!) are great and valuable tools. Uneducated collectors like you and I need all the info we can get, so all we can do is keep working at getting better!

              Best wishes with collecting!

I have always believed that the best teacher is having the cross inhand, photographing it and studying the cross through a loupe. One gets very familiar, one at a time, with each cross' features, and finally the brain responds whenever a photo of a cross is presented on the forum. When I started collecting EK's I asked some of the older members how they readily identified each maker's cross. I remember Daniel's (Grueni) reply, "I look at the dates." Until then I was looking mainly at the inner beading adjacent the swasi of each maker's crosses. Now I look at everything, and I keep a very large set of files on my computer to aid in identifying both good and bad EK's. I confess I still feel near to being a rookie at times with certain crosses, mainly because I haven't purchased that particular meker's cross yet - the brain goes dead at times. Staying very active on the forum helps tremendously in learning. No wonder the Crosses Forum is the first of many forums here; I believe it's the most diverse. There is just no end to variant crosses. I believe the new EK book coming out by Dietrich and George this summer will really be a giant step for all levels EK collectors. Happy hunting!

These are both good, unmarked Klein & Quenzer and a marked Godet.
