Very nice Deumer! I can remember the price on Deumer EKII's going up as high as $300.00 apiece for a month or so about two years ago. Then suddenly their popularity dropped, and so did the pricing.

Hmm, I wonder why that happened. A brief period when they were considered one of the "premier" makers, as Juncker and Deschler are today, maybe?
                  Best regards,

It's too bad that prices get determined on popularity rather than availability. I see Deschlers and Junckers for sale everywhere all day long, and yet they are higher priced.

                      I suppose so Trevor,

Not sure why they went up so drastically. I really considered selling my few and picking them back up later, but I was afraid they'd stay at the elevated price.

True. By rights, we should be paying big money for a Friedrich Keller '66' marked EK2 (for example), and €150 for a K&Q RK

But seriously, I don't see too many variant Junckers: the "flawed frame," or the Juncker Schinkel, to take two examples.
                        Best regards,

This is my favorite Deumer EKII. It's unmarked, has a larger ribbon ring, and the core rattles. I assume it's an earlier Deumer.

                              NICE DEUMER ISCHAK !

                              mines unmarked, "L/11" & "3"

note the typical very mat paint of those "3"
