    Knights Crosses

Just a thought gentlemen, but perhaps there is a reluctance from collectors (such as myself) who have leant the hard way from imparting ALL authentification detail checks of RK's to the forum. Lets face it, such information must be a great source of information to would be fakers ! Are we in danger of collectively shooting ourselves in the foot ?
Ref the "Deumer" RK's that has recently been discussed on the forum...I have been discussing this issue with Gordon and Jamie for some years now. No firm evidence has come to light as to who produced these rounded corner RK's to my knowledge... but it has to be admited that the Deumer EK1's and EK2's look very similar to the RK's ! I have owned three of these over the years, and without exception they have all been superbly constructed wiht heavy lacquer to the frames. Contemporary photographic evidence does exist of these being worn (Ask Gordon !).
Finally... does anyone have an L/50 Oakleaves for sale ? The search continues !.... happy hunting one and all.

    Chris

    (looking for early K & Q RK)
