Thanks for the help guys.
The main thing that struck me was that the pin seemed a bit wider for a Zimmermann than I am used to. Perhaps it is just my eyes getting older.

I agree, a nice original cross. I don't know about the case though, a Zimmerman GCiS should come in a case with a gold stripe I believe.

Beautiful Zimmermann Light DKiS! (I have one of it's mates as my avatar.) I couldn't quite tell from the pictures, but, does it have the "star burst flaw" at around the 10:30 position?
There are a number of opinions on the "correct" type of case for the DKiS, but, personally, I am a fan and believer of the DKiS being presented in a silver-striped case at some point in it's history, and have been searching for such a case for mine. Do you have any provenance with the piece that might confirm the two have always been together?
