Very nice, Dion. Seems like it might be a Juncker EK1? Any shots of the reverse?

      Congrats
      Best regards,

Idid not think it was a Juncker, but I was trying to figure out what it is being I have never had an EK1 like this. The core reminds me on Orth a little.

Here he is wearing it, it sort of reminds me on what I have heard called the "half schinkle"

Very nice early W&L '100', Dion (I think). A better, straight-on shot of the obverse would clinch it.

A little dark Trevor, I thought 100 also at first but it just looks different then other W&Ls I have had, maybe the vaulting is throwing me off.

                      Hey Dion,

It's beautiful EK1 and a very attractive group, congratulations.

I do think the EK1 is a W&L, but it's a bit hard to tell for sure. Here is an old illustration by Douglas that shows W&L's "crunch bead" (left) -- two beads close together on the 1 o'clock beading strand near the center. Can you say if your cross has this feature?

                      Best regards,
                      Streptile

Wow!!! Spectacular find, Dion!!! As you say very fortunate that the saber and the entire grouping survived the last 70+ intact. Hopefully it will stay that way

I'd love to see better scans of the Wehrpass... any chance you can start a thread on it over in the Soldbuch/Wehrpass/ID forum?

I'd love to get a peek inside that photo album, too

                        Again, great score. Congrats, buddy!
