this kvk is unmarked. anyone know if the maker is the packet maker? and how early is this one? it's got a lot of detail. thanks heaps.

The packet is a fake
The cross looks o.k. Maker is hard to tell for me.
Any signs of hand finishing on the sides of the cross?

fake bag-definitely? crap. not good to hear. seller won;t be amused.

the cross arms show very faint tool/file marks if seen in certain light. that what you mean?

Yeah. those marks are a good indicator of a good cross.
As for the packet it is called the scrawl fake. Do a search on "Scrawl Fakes" and you'll see the same type of script. Josef Feix is usually the name on it. It sucks, I know, I've been bitten there myself.

Don't worry the bite mark from something like this heals pretty fast.
The full length ribbon is pretty easy to to get.
