    EK1 Zimmerman(20)

I dont know if you guys have picked this feature up before, but "20" marked Zimmerman EK1's seem to have this "fluting" on the hinge bracket (see image of mine). Can anyone with these in their collections confirm if theirs is the same, and also if L/52 crosses show it too.

      Good eye, Chris

My "20," "L/52," and double marked ("20"and "L/52") Zimmermann EK 1s all have that feature.

              Thanks

Thanks a lot Gentlemen... I think we can use this as a distinguishing feature for Godet/Zimmermans
Thanks for responding and have a great weekend !

Yes, mine has it too. But ever so slightly. Seems to be from the machine (or tool) that crimped the pin to the hinge. Very nice detection, Chris!!!

                    EK ridges

My '20' also has the ridges. Very interesting--I never noticed that!
