PAB Collector, I did not purchase from his website & was not aware of it for sometime. As I said in my post below, due to my stupidity...

So sad. I got taken for a ride on a IAB for 160 USD at a local show and was ready to whack the old [insert nasty name that would get bleeped out ahahaha]. I can only imagine what you have gone through, clearly having lost much more. I am similar, still new to TR collecting and have to watch my Ps and Qs, relying heavily on the friends I have made here, while I learn more and more.

Very much appreciated for you to share these and as someone said, props to you for going about this so level headed. I was in the dumps between anger and self pity for about a week after my purchase so you are a better man than I!

Having looked at the signature, that is wrong too, I own a genuine WWII Rudel signature and sadly the one displayed here is nothing like that. Perhaps if the signature was to be returned you may get some of the money back?

The signature could be a good one actually. If you own a WW2 signature then it's
very clear why this one is different to yours. After the war at a time Hans Ulrich Rudel suffered from a stroke. After that his signature changed.

I also own a post war signed signature and that looks nothing like the one that is shown on this thread. Rudel always placed the umlout above the U even when he was signing postwar. I have seen this stuff before and I think that the person selling this is from the Southern U.S. He has been found to be selling fakes and has been exposed a few times now, He trades on Ebay a lot under various names as yet the trader's name escapes me but that signature is not right.

That might be true, but after a stroke the signature will change a lot. And i doubt that all of Rudel's signatures where "identical" after his stroke. If this signature here is a forgery then it's clearly made to look like it's after the stroke. Is your signature before or after the stroke?

But again, i do not doubt that this here is a fake. Clearly the dealer have a lot of fakes them, but remember that Post war signatures of Rudel is not very rare and not to high priced.
