    Knights cross stick pins ?

    Hey guys,
I've been told the enamel one was a ek1 and the painted was a kc, but the enamel one has a large cross next to a smaller one just as the painted as the pic shows. Can anyone tell me exactly what I might have?

#1 enamel pin front, sorry about the size.

Opinions do differ but I believe 100% the large one is an EK1. This same setup was very common in WWI -- same size and arrangement of crosses -- when of course there was no RK. Also these are sold through big German dealers as an EK1 and an EK2 combo. So I think this is an EK1 and an EK2.

Some do think the big one is an RK, but I think many of those own a similar stickpin
          Best regards,

I would tend to agree with you, but in Gordon Willianson's book he shows a similar set up as the painted one as a Knights Cross and that is what made me question it. That may be also where that notion comes from.
