Could anyone give me a few concrete bullet points of things to look out for when buying an anti partisan badge, especially known fake characteristics. Perhaps someone could recommend a reference text or just give me the benefit of their experience as I am quite daunted by this particular award. Thanks.

If you go to the Wehrmact War & Qualification Section (which is the correct post area) you will find a few posts on this subject. I was in a similar position and you are right it is a very dodgy path to take. Read as much as you can before parting with any money. Best of luck.

Currently Jamie Cross has a very nice looking anti partisan badge. If I had a cool US $1330 I think I could definitely find a new home for it. Studying closely pictures of originals and handling them is your best bet, these have been faked for years and are getting dangerously close to the originals.
