This is the half moon (for Silver) and the Reichs crown. Is this a WW1 cross?

Right question. I 've never seen both or just the half moon in an Imperial cross.

Dietrich : the full silver mark shown in post 45 is a German silver mark . Picture taken from a silver mark web site . I had shown this to the Professor instructor involved with pretious metals, reconnaised it as an old silver marking , did not who's it was . Some companies have been around for many years and he is convinced the dots on the cross and the last part of the old silver mark represent the same company , just in an abriviated form . The 3 dots match and are very destinctive in both cases .

Filling in some more missing pictures and marks : >>> # 9 on the list .

                          This one is not an ' X ' but a " K or JK " ???
Also should note this one has the very deep L59 strike with the low sitting 9 that has the large oval top in the 9 .

                            # 21 :

The line or bar marks : found as one or mainly in pairs on the pin . Pic. Lakeside Trader
Without any surface discoloration not easy to noticed and overseen as tool marks and gauges! A tool/plyer mark should have another mark on the other side .
The common L59 mark with the small round top 9 loop and almost horizontal foot .

The mistery of the Triangular Dots :
                              In the chart as # 23 :

Even though the study of these is far from being complete , they should be included for reasons of completness of this thread . They are the most illusive and difficult mark to find and to veryfy . It will be a surprize to most readers that these dot marks exist and that they can be found on EK1s of other makers and even on a KC .
As these marks are not just found on L59s EK1s gives me reason to believe they represent a marking from an outside source . .. control or inspection mark comes to mind . 3 variation of the mark can be found , as show in the diagram below .
As mentioned earlier computer problem had wipped out most of the pictures of these and have re-obtained some pictures , tho not the best , just to give an idea what to look for .

Lets take a cross here to show the difficult finding and veryfying these Triangle dots . The surface is naturly speckled , discolored , dimpled and tarnished .
The 3dots are on here ... spot them ?
