Yes..Too my satisfaction it is wartime...........Local veteran Millard Paul Sutton (US 3ard Army) shipped a Knights Cross marked 800/4 home in a package dated Feb 27 !945. It was listed on the capture papers enclosed there in as a German medal. His widow told me that that was the only medal from Germany in the package. Will that please the skeptics here. No. But, that confirmed it for me...........Too anyone else I dont care....In deference too Dietrich our esteemed Moderator, who is as I understand researching the issue regarding German vets and their presentation dates. This will be my last post in this thread on the 800/4.
