    Dealer enquiry.

    Hello,

Any of you guys had any dealings with Regimentals militaria? they are based in south east england. I noticed they have a silver grade Spanish cross with swords marked CEJ, 800 in there latest update. I think it is a good one but wanted to know if any members had dealt with them before or if they have a good reputation.

    Kind Regards to all,

    Thomas.

        Hello:
Yes Regimentals has mix of good and bad items. Many items have been played with by those selling but they do from time to time have very good original items. I would say proceed with caution and lots of knowledge

....But I agree with the philosophy of judging the item on its merits though beware of the recognised dealers who are known to have suspect items!

Mate, This piece loks good to my eye...I would like to see closeup pictures of the setup with the pin open and closed and from the side angle, the catch from the side angle and the obverse in higher resolution pictures if I were looking at purchasing this piece, and just to point it out the top left blade of the swords is slightly bent, you probably saw this of course!

x2. i had a few good items from them - the odd ek2 and some cap eagles, and then received a bad police shako from another dealer for regimentals, which he promply sent back to them.

                its a mixed bag really.

Hi, I recently bought from Regimentals, an ek1 clamshell screwback, which turned out to be a Floch reproduction.
I posted it here, in the last week, under "ek1 clamshell screwback?" Got lots of help from the members, which was great. Anyway I emailed Regimentals about it, then phoned them and they took the cross back without any problems.
I hope your cross works out.

                  cheers John

there are certain dealers i avoid due to their ridiculuous way above market value prices. regimentals is one of them. i would deal with them only if it is something that i havent been able to acquire under any other circumstances, or that it has proven to be almost impossible to get.

I reckon it has gone back on the site until some other poor un-suspecting buyer purchases it
