    Two new additions, today!

This EK1, maker marked 107, and EK2, marked 65, came to me today as part of the final group of items that I obtained for free, on a barter deal. My time, helping to catalog a large group of antique firearms, for the 40 plus items that I received.

I am wondering about the striations across the center of the pin on the EK1....It's simply something that I've never seen, before, so I am posting them here, because as always, I value your opinions and comments greatly.

    Cheers,
    Bob.

I can't tell you what caused the striations, but the cross looks fine to me.

I agree. I feel they are more than likely indigenous to that maker. Id say you got a great tip. Me Like. Was there a story where your boss came upon these treasures?
Unusual marks like these are not always a death sentence.
Its like the paint loosened up..or fell off..on the 24 marked IC i posted..maybe some of the batches weren't primed or etched properly for one reason or another prior to painting, or one posting individual suggested service close to the ocean caused it. I chose to leave mine as it was whatever the reason. Nice scoop. Im thinking about using my spare time sitting next to the freeway with a sign that says....Will Work for nazi stuff.

If you do not like the stripes on the pin, you can always ship the cross to me

Nice crosses you show here...for some reason I really like the EK from K&Q .

The 107 doesn't come along as often as some makers. They are also hard to find with good core paint. This one is actually in good shape for this maker.

Is the name of the manufacturer with the maker mark 107, known?
