check out the flaw in the uper right knee..or am i wrong again, and its just common? I couldnt read the makers mark...just too worn.

I have no idea who the maker is on this one, but this one is the same size as the 24 I posted today. At least someone may know , but this was my first ww2IC . Wierd dips in the ones on this one below the points.Appears like someone added something to the center, but its just the same as when i found it.

So the knee flaw is not really there on the reverse?

Nope , not as far as i can see. Is the flaw a common identification for this maker.
Ive never even looked at these crosses all these years. Makers marks ,or any of these details until the time of the internet, I never paid much attention to any of that, did you? . I just hunted the stuff to the point of obsession... Almost came up with my own german helmet smell cologne, called stahlhelm, You could walk around smelling like a german helmet...

finding stuff that way fatefully is....Better than any drug...it is a drug.


You shoulda seen the look on my face when granny opened the drawer, and there was an IC ll cl. I almost had my heart come out my mouth. She was dumbfounded ....Man was i high.Especially after i asked her if i could have it, and she asid you may have it. Anybody else ever have something like that happen with something nazi ? When the vets first came home they sometimes just gave stuff away. I used to buy it at school. I got a gold party badge once for 8.50. and a russian front for 5. It took me about 3 weeks to pay that off. Still have the party badge.
