This cross had no paint left (except traces) , but was a vet obtained piece. Thought it might be good to post for the record.

So you think the sea may have cause the paint to fail? Its a viable possibility. Im going to post the other ones , since its snowing like heck.
I will after i post them individually, set them side by side to compare the ends . Ones a 4, ones a 24 shown, and several others , one i got out of my grandmas house when i was a kid.
I asked her if she had any old german crosses, and she said "honey i dont have anything like that", i said can i look in that drawer in front of me(keeping in mind i had not opened it ever), she said alright, and when i opened it there was this iron cross WF I asked her if i could have it, and she said sure take it home, I dont even know where it came from.(and i still have it after all these years).
She said a relative named pittman must have brought it home, cant recall his first name, but he lived in western pa.. That really freaked me out. I will mention it after i post it . Gotta break to make a pot of soup from scratch.

look there, this one cames from kriegsmarine set, and lost most of black color, but I love this one. Got only EK II now.
