Why do you think it was repainted ? Seems fine for me.

I am tired now, but tomorrow I will post mm 24 from my collection for compare.
Cleaned crosses are fine, but I prefer crosses with patina
If this cross is an original, value could be 80-90 Eur.

Its a good 24, one of my favourite makers, i see why you think it may be repainted the line on the top of the '3 oclock' arm etc, The best way imo you can do some photos like Josefs looking straight at the cross, and again the revesre. It allows a clearer picture for opinions.

                Value anyway from 50e - 75e perhaps

Compare his ... things... with things on my cross. It is same! Only my core is rusted. I think it is common for mm 24.

                    Hello Maurice,

From what I see the cross frame has been cleaned. That's unfortunate, but the patina will return in time. It does not appear to have been repainted nor taken apart which is a good thing as it would be worthless to many a collector had that been the case.

                    Kind regards,
                    Stu
