I went to a local gun/knife show two weekends ago. I took a walk around that gun/knife show. I stopped by a local militaria dealer's table and asked him to show me a mint unmarked EK2 with blue packet also unmarked. He did take that set out of his display case. He loaned his loupe to me to check its ring mm. On the closee inspection it turned to be "333" mark on the ring. So I knew that it was indeed a fake "333" EK2 with fake blue packet. I asked him how much and he said $150. I decided to pass on that fake EK2 set thanks to my information on EK2s I got off this forum. I thanked him for showing this EK2 and walked away from the dealer's table. I still be more careful with handling fake EKs. Thanks to this forum's Crosses of the Wehrmacht for this valuable help! Thanks for valuable help!
