I found this Iron Cross today in a hungarian auction site. The cross price of ca. 350 euro, but without guarantee. Very-very interesting this seller.

I have not like this cross. I think, that it's a fake. What do you think?

Yes, I thought that, too. I think, that the seller is know, too. I think, that is a very big problem, when the seller knowingly try to sell the copies badges for genuine badges, on very high orig. price.

...and I found on this hungarian auction site an other EK1 mini fake: http://www.vatera.hu/item/view/index.php?cod=159183147

allegedly found this cross from a burned panzer You can see some interesting badges in the background. This guy is a well-known fake factory.
Of course, that the seller's deleted my all post, what I wrote his cross. This auction is not stopped, also.

This one I think is a bad fake - I see better. You know this crosses where
given to tank-crews, because the turred was very small and when you go
in or out of the tank - the nomal cross where be damage. I miss the little
steel pin - this was made too - the tank uniform was very raff and this little
pin was for help to arretation the cross.

This is a well known fake that comes with different markings and different hardware setups on the reverse. Note the crude configuration of the ribs close to the swastika and the artificial patina. This can be seen on both the examples shown below. Remember this fake as it is a frequent "guest" on our forum.
