Dave, I prefer people to make their position known, it's healthy, but I don't understand your stance on this discussion. Shouldn't you be airing on the side of caution, you made the statement not me. I certainly wouldn't liken the picture you illustrated as a dramatic landmark and you have hit the nail on the head, we can't have a good 'look see,' as the photos are too poor quality.
Asking me to prove the flaws don't exist, is as impossible as it is for you to prove they do, shadows are not flaws and without flaws this may as well be a cast from genuine K&Q frames. Your assertion that these are probably made from the original frame dies is at best a guess, given your long term collecting experience, your guesses will become other people's facts, unless we are careful.
