    EK1 Case Question

I'm looking for the consensus on this forum about this specific type of EK1 case. Instead of the usual rough finish that we see on most cases this type has a smoother finish with a somewhat larger EK design on the lid. The inside, however, seems to be constructed in the usual style of most cases we see. I don't see these types of cases too often, but do see them from time to time. I can show two different examples below. I would appreciate any comments/feeback.

    Thanks,
    Brian

Here's another one. I pick this up at the Max show in 1990 and sold it on the forum about a year ago.

No opinions on these case types????

Here are some additional images of original crosses in the cases above. These cases certainly appear to be period construction. The interiors do not glow under a blacklight and they have that "smell". Some of you guys must have one of these in your collection or, have at least, seen one.

Here's the second case pictured with EK...

I've seen a lot of Zimmermann EKs in cases similar to these. They have the same type EK emblem on the lid, but most of them are squarer.

            Cases

            Hi Brian,
I think that these cases are rather attractive, and having had a couple I certainly would have no problem with orginality. I seem to remember seeing a couple of RK cases with square corners that had this finish too.

I also have two of these and while the fat swastika design is very similar, the structure, form and inside colour of the cases is different from each other. Both have square push buttons:

                  I like these cases personally.

I have a number in my collection.

No problem with them at all.

                    Hi to all,
i have a (double marked ) Zimmermann in a similar type case with this style of cross on the lid, but it is of the more common squarer designed case.

I do not see any problems with any of the cases posted.
